As per the ISO standards, products requiring Irradiation must be validated before routine runs. The purpose of this study is to find the dose delivered inside the product box at various locations and the dose distribution. For this exercise material of same product (identical) is taken and divided into planes. Dosimeters are placed in various locations of each plane. If required by client, Biological Indicators are also put along with the dosimeters. These boxes are processed and results are reviewed. A validation report also called Dose Mapping Report is issued to the client.
